Line Components

  • CHV-X 15-125 check valves (SVL product range)
  • CHV-X check valves are available in angleway versions. The valves are designed to open at very low differential pressures, allow favourable flow conditions and are easy to disassemble for inspection and service. Laser cut V-ports provide excellent opening characteristics (CHV-X 50-125). The valve cone has a built-in flexibility to ensure a precise and tight closing towards the valve seat.
  • CHV-X SS check valves, in stainless steel (SVL product range)
  • CHV-X SS stainless steel check valves are available in angleway versions. The valves are designed to open at very low differential pressures, allow favourable flow conditions and are easy to disassemble for inspection and service. The valve cone has a built-in flexibility to ensure a precise and tight closing towards the valve seat.
  • FA strainer, non welded
  • Strainer type FA with interchangeable filter insert is used in lines carrying fluorinated refrigerants, ammonia, water, brine, oil, and gas.
  • FIA 15-200 strainer (SVL product range)
  • FIA are a range of angleway and straightway strainers, which are carefully designed to give favourable flow conditions. The design makes the strainer easy to install, and ensures quick strainer inspection and cleaning. FIA strainers are used ahead of automatic controls, pumps, compressors etc., for initial plant start-up and where permanent filtration of the refrigerant is required. The strainer reduces the risk of undesirable system breakdowns and reduces wear and tear on plant components.

  • KDC pressure control valve
  • KDC is a pressure control valve. The valve controls the discharge pressure of the compressor to ensure fast build-up of pressure and lubrication pressure. The valve also acts as a check valve in the discharge line of the compressor. The KDC valve is force-controlled. When pressure in the oil separator is 2 bar (29 psi) higher than the suction pressure, the spring is compressed and the valve opens. In low pressure units (boosters), the spring requires a differential pressure of 0.5 bar (7 psi) for the valve to open.
