Electromechanical Pressure & Temperature Controls

The range of pressure switches and thermostats cover a lot of applications within refrigeration and air conditioning. The pressure switches and thermostats are in two categories: KP as standard and RT for heavy duty purposes. The switches can be delivered for fluorinated refrigerants as well as ammonia.
Product Ranges:
  • KP / KPU thermostats, standard applications
  • KP thermostats are single-pole, double-throw (SPDT) temperature operated electric switches. KP is used for regulation, but can also be seen in safety monitoring systems. It is here that the electronic mechanism shows its superiority. KP thermostats are available with vapour charge or with adsorption charge.
  • KP / KP-E / KPU / KP-A pressure switches, standard applications
  • KP pressure switches are for use in refrigeration and air conditioning systems to give protection against excessively low suction pressure or excessively high discharge pressure. The switches are also used for starting and stopping refrigeration compressors and fans on air- cooled condensers.KP pressure switches are available in IP 30 and IP 44 enclosures.
  • RT thermostats / RT differential thermostats, heavy duty applications
  • RT thermostats are fitted with a single-pole changeover switch. The position of the contacts depends on the bulb temperature and the set scale value. The RT series includes thermostats for general applications within industrial and marine refrigeration.
  • RT differential pressure switches
  • The RT series includes differential pressure switches, pressure switches for neutral zone regulation and special pressure switches with gold-plated contact surface for PLC applications. The RT switches are for general applications within industrial and marine refrigeration.
  • MP / MP-A / MP-E differential pressure switches
  • MP 54 and MP 55 differential pressure switches are used as safety switches to protect refrigeration compressors against low lubricating oil pressure. If the oil pressure fails the differential pressure switch stops the compressor after a certain time period.
